Not a fan of Dhoom and all it's films but man the songs are so catchy it's hard to ignore them!

Well looking back at the last post, it seems like the last I wrote here was 2 or 3 months ago or maybe even longer than that!
I can check out but nah not necessary.

So what am I doing right now? Listening, in fact blasting Malang on the earpiece, typing this post and feeling all emo!
Funny and strange how a song can sometimes affect you to the core.. To make it interesting, I haven't really read the meaning of Malang songs..
But roughly I know it's a song about being madly in love that sort of feeling.. So yeah I'm simply enjoying the catchy music, not having full understanding of the song yet can get deeply affected and moved.. Music is universal thus you don't really need to understand what the words are but if you can connect means you can connect to the song.. Know what I mean?

I have loads in my mind right now that I simply want to continue pouring out but.. (this is what happens when there's only one computer in a house & there's high demand for it!)

Well hopefully my thoughts remain in my brain (frontal lobe! Psychology! More of this in another post!!)

Long Read - Some review

Continuation from my previous post...

So I've finished watching Cinta Jannah yesterday at 3am! Yay!! *happy dance*

The last few episodes made me cry and question this and that.. Something I shouldn't have done before watching it but I did it anyway was to read few reviews of Cinta Jannah.
While watching the last few episodes, those comments and reviews I read previously came playing at the back of my mind..

So Jannah and Izaryl were reunited after being separated for 9 years.. Happy endings! :D

Keseluruhan drama ini sangat bagus, cerita yang menarik tetapi banyak persoalan dibiarkan tanpa jawapan..

Antaranya:

- Selama 9 tahun itu, tidakkah Jannah cuba untuk pulang ke kampungnya & berjumpa keluarganya?
- Tidakkah keluarga Jannah sesekali mencari Jannah?
- Adakah Aminah kembali bekerja dengan Izaryl?
- Papa Damia bermusuh dengan mama Izaryl tetapi kenapa mendiamkan diri dan hanya menjual tanah sebagai balasan? Rugi banyakkah syarikat Izaryl dengan penjualan tanah itu?
- Kenapa mama Izaryl, Tengku Puan jadi separti itu? Sakit angin ahmar?
- Watak kawan Izaryl dan kawan Jannah dibiarkan senyap setelah episod permulaan dan muncul di akhir-akhir untuk beberapa minit sahaja, kenapa?
- Kenapa sepanjang perkahwinan Jannah dan Izaryl, Izaryl tidak pernah cuba ingin tahu latar belakang Jannah, atau berkeras untuk menemui keluarga Jannah?
- Kenapa kakak Jannah benci sangat dengan Jannah?

Dapat dilihat dari atas banyak persoalan dibiarkan tergantung tanpa dijawab.. Walau bagaimana Cinta Jannah termasuk dalam senarai drama favourite saya!
Kenapa? Sebab Jannah dan Izaryl sangat comel dan sweet...

OST Cinta Jannah






So Cinta Jannah made me a fan of both Nelydia Senrose & Aeril Zafrel.

Nelydia and her sister Uqasha (that pretty mean girl in SSID) look so similar they can pass off as twins. Till today, I have difficulty telling them apart..

Coming to Aeril, before I watch Cinta Jannah I don't like this actor one bit. Why? He had the controversy of keeping his marriage to a fellow actress secretly and was later informed to the public.
But as I was watching Cinta Jannah, I kept thinking that they are both adult, they found love and got married. So why were they being punished? Just because they didn't announce they were married?
That's personal and if they wanted to keep it personal it was their every right. Anyways, I like his acting.. Next on my list will be 99 Kali Rindu which my brother strongly recommended as a very good film..

Long Read - What's Up...?!

First of all, let's start with the song I'm currently obsessed with: Angin Syurga by Misha Omar



Okay this isn't exactly a new song actually but I love the words and the music video. Nazim is quite handsome too!

How I came across this song? As usual I was googling and contemplating which drama to watch since I've finished with Love You Mr Arrogant.

Initially I had decided on Jodoh Itu Milik Kita but the attraction wasn't that strong as Sebenarnya Saya Isteri Dia and Love You Mr Arrogant.

So I was deciding and contemplating and I came across Cinta Jannah. Watched a few short clips and I was keen to watch the drama. Seems like a good one and most reviews say it is a good one.

Back to Angin Syurga. This song is the theme song for Cinta Jannah so of course I had to google it and that's how I got hooked. The level of obsession: I can listen to this song alone for 4-5 times on loop!

Currently I've been watching Cinta Jannah till episode 10. 14 more episodes to go!

A little side notes for Cinta Jannah:

- Aeril Zafrel the main actor of this drama reminds me of Norman Hakim and Iqram. I prefer him in serious mode than when he's smiling or laughing.
- Nelydia Senrose. She's cute! Oh and she's the younger sister (I think) of Uqasha the girl who acted as Rania in Sebenarnya Saya Isteri Dia. The both look like twins!

I think I did write in my previous post that I got into reading again because if SSID, did I?
Anyways, if I hadn't yes I'm kind of got hook back into reading and watching Malay drama all because of SSID, which is good and is a positive thing so no complains :)

I'm into reading novels that has been adapted into drama serials. The latest novel I've finished reading is Adam dan Hawa. Drama seems good but it's 80 episodes long!!

Maybe after I've finished Cinta Jannah and Jodoh Itu Milik Kita I'll start watching Adam dan Hawa.

I just turn 25 recently!! Quarter century old yeah!!

Long Read - Love You Mr Arrogant

Firstly, I think I need to give some credits to the recent drama that I was obsessed, Sebenarnya Dia Isteri Dia (SSID).

Why? Because I'm now kind of hooked to watching drama and reading novels back because of SSID. Not any kind of drama but drama that is being adapted based from a novel.

Googling SSID and the actors/actresses, I came across Love You Mr Arrogant (LYMA). That brother in SSID that was bad and became good, Azlee Khairi is the main actor of LYMA. I thought this looked good and gave it a try. And I never regretted it.

Similar storyline with SSID, LYMA revolves around Mr Arrogant, Irham and Zara the girl he met and forced to marry him. And so the episodes of love after marriage starts, with the mother-in-law hating on Zara, possessive ex-girlfriend, best friends, bromance and that makes one good drama to watch. It's more sad and has a mature feeling to it compared to SSID. I believe it's because in SSID it involves a 21 years old guy marrying a 25 years old lady while in LYMA the guy is hinted to be older than the wife though it was never stated clearly (not that I remember any of the episode mentioning Irham's age).

As I was catching up with the episodes, I realised it was being played concurrently on TV3 Malaysia. The drama has recently ended (happy ending yay!) and from the review tweets I've been reading, LYMA is one huge success!! Congrats!!

Some pointers/recollections from Love You Mr Arrogant from my point of view:

- I really really Love You Mr Arrogant! Hehehe!! Azlee Khairi reminds me so much of Remy Ishak and sometimes Rusdy Ramli. Read about him yesterday and no they are not related at all.

- Zara, her patience is amazing. I doubt I can be that calm and filial if I was to be in her shoes. Even after all the eveil doing from people who hates her for no reason, she kept quiet and doesn't retaliate. Stupid you might say and I would say the same too. But one particular scene and dialogue said made me rethink her character. What she said is, "Saya dibesarkan untuk kenal halal haram."

- Hadry. Irham's cousin & best friend. You can sense there's competition between the two of them but somehow they always turn to each other for help. Bromance!! Hadry in real life is Keith Foo, Malaysian actor who acted in several Sinetron before. Ooh and his new drama is The Wedding Breaker & Singapore's Hisyam Hamid is also in that drama. The new drama I will be watching & I wanna find that novel in the library soon!

To summarise, Love You Mr Arrogant is an all rounder drama that has now entered into the list of drama I love & don't mind to watch over and over again. Nur Kasih & Sebenarnya Saya Isteri Dia are also in the list by the way :)

Next drama I want to watch will be Jodoh Itu Milik Kita. Let's see if I will be hooked to this drama like I was to SSID and LYMA.

Long Read - Current Obsession

...I don't usually becomes a fan of any drama, but when I do I become addicted to it...

Hahaha! Well that's true what I typed there earlier.. Tak selalunya saya menonton dan mengikuti drama-drama tetapi kalau dah ceritanya menarik, mestilah terpikat kan :)

The drama I'm addicted to now is an adaptation from a novel, Sebenarnya Saya Isteri Dia and the drama using the same title as the novel.

Interesting story how two persons were asked to marry for the family honour. A brief summary of the story below:

Syafa Aqira diminta berkahwin dengan Firash Arshad, adik angkatnya yang muda 4 tahun dari dirinya.
Sebenarnya, Syafa telah bertunang dengan Farish abang Firash dan akan berkahwin tidak lama lagi.
Namun kerana kejadian di malam itu, pertunangan diputuskan dan demi menjaga nama baik keluarga, ibu angkat Syafa yang juga ibu Farish dan Firash meminta mereka berkahwin.
Di hari pernikahan Syaf dan Firash, Farish ditimpa kemalangan kerana terlalu kecewa dan akhirnya meninggal dunia.
Walaupun telah berkahwin, perkahwinan mereka dirahsiakan dan Firash tidak begitu mengendahkan isterinya sehinggalah kawan baiknya mula menunjuk minat
terhadap isterinya yang mereka kenali sebagai kakak saudara Firash.
Bermula dengan tiada perasaan di antara mereka, sedikit demi sedikit perasaan sayang dan kasih mula terbit.
Firash mula berasa cemburu terutama ketika di kampung apabila sepupunya Hakimi yang juga bekas rakan sekolah Syaf mendekati Syaf.
Perjalanan cinta mereka sentiasa diuji dan Syaf melarikan diri selama 3 bulan sebelum ditemukan semula dengan Firash.
Akhirnya perkahwinan mereka bukan lagi rahsia apabila Firash memberi kejutan kepada Syaf dan membuatkan majlis perkahwinan untuk mereka berdua..

So that's how the story goes. Because of this drama, I kind of became a fan of the actor playing the character of Firash, Izzue Islam. Till now, I wonder if it is Firash who is adorable or Izzue..
I read about Izzue and like him even more when I read he's married to his manager who was his girlfriend for 6 years and that she's 8 years older than him! How's that?!

It's common that we read about couple where the girl is older than the guy. Personally I'm not really a fan of this type of couple. I don't critise those who do because I believe jodoh pertemuan di tangan Allah. Siapa kita untuk menidakkan atau mengkritik. But as far as possible, I would not want to have such a relationship where I'm the older one..

Going back to the actor, he's 23 when he married his wife. Popular, handsome yet he doesn't care about what people or fans might say about him marrying his wife. Why? Sebab dia kenangkan kesusahan kesenangan pahit manis kehidupan bersama isterinya. Reading articles about him and his wife, I really respect him.
