I should have been asleep or at least try to sleep at this hour of the night. Just in case, it's 1.35am now.
It's usually at this time of the night/day that many thoughts run wildly and you start thinking and ponder..
But again, what can one do except to ponder, analyse and think..
Sometimes I think I might have been too hard on myself, wanting to achieve almost everything overnight..
I'm afraid at times I might not get the chance to tick against the list of things I need/want to do...
And I get frustrated due to the constraints that's not allowing me to do what I want to do and it will ruin my day..
I do try to relax and chill and take things easy but it's human nature to snap sometimes.. Kya karoon.. There's nothing I can do when that happens except to keep calm..

Long Read - It's not summer yet it feels like being in a sauna
Here I am once again.
Listening to songs from Shahid Kapoor's songs and typing away on the keyboard drafting emails to be sent out tomorrow morning. It feels like work is never-ending nowadays. Yeah people say once work ends, we'll be out of job. But if there's too many outstanding works it isn't good too right.
Not going to describe the whole boring workaholic side of my life here. Not tonight at least.
Just something I feel like pouring out here tonight is the use of all these social media. Gosh this sounds like an English paper subject (I always miss school).
Well, the world has been changing constantly and there's always a new invention every other day.
Let's go back in time for the moment. Last time, there used to be IRC (Internet Relay Chat), Messenger, Friendster, Myspace none of which I used except for Messenger that also only when I started poly and we need to communicate instantly when doing projects and assignments.
Later came Facebook which I avoided and started to use only when every one else was already actively using it. Yes I am always late when it comes to technologies. I even remembered one of my friend said it's no use telling me her email address because I don't know how to use it and will never use it anyway. Hahahaha!
After Facebook, I joined Twitter and that's only because my jaan Salman Khan was using it.
Of course I had to join twitter! Salman was using it and that's like the closest interaction I will ever get to be with him (secretly I still wish and hope to be able to meet this man in real life one day). Salman is unique in his own way. He tweets random stuff and never replied to anyone, except to one lucky girl wishing her for her exams but later on the tweet was deleted. When you've been following someone (the term on twitter is to "follow" someone's account) for some time, you would sense it isn't that person whom tweeted when you see something slightly different than what he/she used to tweet. I feel like I'm going to confuse people, if ever this gets to be read by them!
Initially I used to follow Salman Khan only and because I wanted to be that loyal fan I did not follow SRK, AB Junior, an account that makes fun of Bollywood and Salman at times. Later on I realised this is all a little too childish and so I followed them and I think I'm following most of the people in Bollywood and a few accounts from Hollywood. I'm following way too many accounts from India that at times I'm way ahead with the news happening in India before it gets reported locally. Main toh Bollywood pasand hai toh..
Facebook them twitter then only recently I started Instagram (IG). I've always wanted to join IG but it was an application which was available only for Iphone and later on Android phones. Being a Blackberry user (I was strongly a loyal user at one time), I could not join or have an IG account. It's really a cool app which you post pictures and puts in remarks or captions as IG users call it and there's lots of hashtags used in IG #seriously #ilovesalman #chocolatelover
So I gathered that:
- Facebook is where you write long status and it calls for likes, discussions and debates.
- Twitter (where you can write up to 140 characters only) is for your random thoughts, monologues, following/stalking your favourite actor
- Instagram is where you post nice pictures, sceneries and can make use of their cool fun filters to add more life to your picture
Personally my use for the 3 social medias are being break down as:
- Facebook, where I write though-provoking status or current situation and discuss/debate them with my friends and relatives
- Twitter, where it's mostly used for Bollywood stuffs, exchanging gossips, trivias with a fellow twitter friend whom I have not met before but can talk comfortably (reason why I hesitate to put a picture of myself for the display picture), tweet about random thoughts I think about when I'm on the way to work etc. Basically twitter is where I go to tweet about stuff which I would not want to write in my Facebook.
- Instagram is where I post pictures, mainly of sceneries, everyday scenes and occasionally pictures of myself, with family and friends
There's tumblr which I don't find a need to join as it seems like a blog to me. I already have one blog why take up another one right? Recently there's keek, something like the 3 social medias I listed above but in the form of video which the video is only up to few minutes only. I know I won't ever be joining keeks because I'm not that much of a video person. I like taking pictures for memories. But hey never say never!
All this long post and I'm coming to why I'm writing all this. Yesterday I had tweeted this "Felt as if I could be awake all night but I need to be less hard on myself. There's only much one can take at any one time.". And someone who I followed and is also following me replied several times but sadly I don't get what she meant. What she replied was about something happening 4 years ago being such an impressive reply to all the current games and because I brought it up in public, its fair that she reply back in public. Urmm excuse my stupidity but that tweet of mine was all about me, myself and I. Nothing to do with anyone for that matter. I'm curious to know if she is indeed someone I know in real life (I doubt so) and am still waiting for her reply.. It's such a mysetery. Maybe she was referring to something or someone else but it's too ambiguous and I don't get it..
Let's wait and watch..
It's 12.30am and I didn't realise it at all! #Oops #Goodnight

Long Read - Time for a post
It's definitely time for a new post. Been busy really busy recently that I don't even have time to check on twitter or facebook during working hours. What more blogs..
Work wise there's been too many changes. My first boss whom I've known since my internship for a good 5 years finally decided to move on. A team of 7 came in. Then a team of 5 which includes our now new boss came in. 3 of our agents move on, actually 4. 2 left the firm and 2 hopped onto another department within the company.
With changes comes changes and adaptation. Working style changes. Suddenly it's a sea of new people with different pattern and style. I'm still trying to get used to it though I think I'm somewhat 99.99% had embraced the change. Maybe it's time for me to change too? Hmmm...
Speaking of which, I'm supposed to sit down this month and really decide which degree programme I want to enroll in and be in for the next 3-4 years. Likely would be SIM but which course how etc etc etc.. So many questions and it's such a big investment financial wise which I don't really know whether I should pursue or not. I'm quite satisfied holding on a diploma yet personally I have always wanted to hold on to a roll of degree. It's been a personal ambition since young..

Life is always one big place to explore..
I'm currently hooked to Tamil songs from Aadhavan.. Vaarayo Vaarayo, Yeno and Hasili Fisili.
The actor is none other than my favourite Surya!
.jpg)
We at home always call Surya the equivalent of Salman while Vijay is the equivalent of Shah Rukh based on their acting styles and their attitude on screen. Salman and Surya share the same characteristic of the charismatic cool guy while Shah Rukh and Vijay have always been the more lively more energetic guy.
We had a company's vacation to Clubmed Bali in March this year. Quite a fun trip though I miss all the water-related activities :(
One memory I won't ever forget while there is meeting one of the resort personnel, Adrien. Not actually meeting meeting but he left quite an impression that is still lasting till today. I should have asked at least for his facebook or something.. I think I should stop obsessing over him one day..

Other new obsession is looking up to the sky and check out the clouds. Hahah! Sometimes I wonder if I am secretly searching for something or someone in the blue sky maybe..

Long Read - It's Mid Feb 2023 already!
.jpg)
Oh my! How long have I not been here to write my thoughts or reflections? It's now 17 February 2013 and it's been a good Sunday so far...
.jpg)
Well, February is usually associated with that special day celebrated on the 14th. I've never celebrated it nor am I planning to anytime soon. There's no special one you see. Even if there is a special someone, I doubt 14th Feb would be celebrated any special than the rest of the other 364 days in the entire calendar.
So what have I been up to? I intended to further my studies but due to the circumstances etc, I've decided to put it on hold. Hopefully I'll be back to books and exams in 2014. Let's see how it goes..
2013 brought many changes to my work. Not to me personally but to my department. New TM team came on board.. Then my boss of 4 years left.. And soon a new boss will be coming on board with several others.. Many stories floating around but let's hope for the best shall we?
Going back to my no. 1 and forever obsession - SALMAN KHAN!!! How can I ever stop loving him I don't know.
.jpg)
Almost everyday I checked on him on twitter. I checked his photos on facebook. I googled news about him. I get sad and affected when I read bad or negative stories about him. I feel proud to be his fan when I read good news about him or if someone praised him. Kya karoon.. Our prem ki kahani started since I was 13 years old.. I can't really put a date to that exact moment when I really adored him and started to be his fan. What I remembered is I've always been exposed to Bollywood since young. Shah Rukh Khan, Kajol, Madhuri, Dil To Pagal Hain, Koyla... Maybe I knew SRK first before I was introduced to the person named Salman Khan. I started reading up about him since there were many negative stories being written about him. He was even called Bollywood Bad Boy! As I started reading up on him, I realised there's more layers to this man compared to what the media always wrote about him. Slowly and steadily I became pagal about him and now it's up in the open how much I love Salman Khan!
Everytime I thought the obsession and love has diminished, one look at the many photos of him or a quick look of his acting, the love and adoration start all over again!

I have love you then, still loving you now and will forever love you!
