Long Read - It's not summer yet it feels like being in a sauna

Here I am once again.

Listening to songs from Shahid Kapoor's songs and typing away on the keyboard drafting emails to be sent out tomorrow morning. It feels like work is never-ending nowadays. Yeah people say once work ends, we'll be out of job. But if there's too many outstanding works it isn't good too right.

Not going to describe the whole boring workaholic side of my life here. Not tonight at least.

Just something I feel like pouring out here tonight is the use of all these social media. Gosh this sounds like an English paper subject (I always miss school).
Well, the world has been changing constantly and there's always a new invention every other day.

Let's go back in time for the moment. Last time, there used to be IRC (Internet Relay Chat), Messenger, Friendster, Myspace none of which I used except for Messenger that also only when I started poly and we need to communicate instantly when doing projects and assignments.

Later came Facebook which I avoided and started to use only when every one else was already actively using it. Yes I am always late when it comes to technologies. I even remembered one of my friend said it's no use telling me her email address because I don't know how to use it and will never use it anyway. Hahahaha!

After Facebook, I joined Twitter and that's only because my jaan Salman Khan was using it.

Of course I had to join twitter! Salman was using it and that's like the closest interaction I will ever get to be with him (secretly I still wish and hope to be able to meet this man in real life one day). Salman is unique in his own way. He tweets random stuff and never replied to anyone, except to one lucky girl wishing her for her exams but later on the tweet was deleted. When you've been following someone (the term on twitter is to "follow" someone's account) for some time, you would sense it isn't that person whom tweeted when you see something slightly different than what he/she used to tweet. I feel like I'm going to confuse people, if ever this gets to be read by them!

Initially I used to follow Salman Khan only and because I wanted to be that loyal fan I did not follow SRK, AB Junior, an account that makes fun of Bollywood and Salman at times. Later on I realised this is all a little too childish and so I followed them and I think I'm following most of the people in Bollywood and a few accounts from Hollywood. I'm following way too many accounts from India that at times I'm way ahead with the news happening in India before it gets reported locally. Main toh Bollywood pasand hai toh..

Facebook them twitter then only recently I started Instagram (IG). I've always wanted to join IG but it was an application which was available only for Iphone and later on Android phones. Being a Blackberry user (I was strongly a loyal user at one time), I could not join or have an IG account. It's really a cool app which you post pictures and puts in remarks or captions as IG users call it and there's lots of hashtags used in IG #seriously #ilovesalman #chocolatelover

So I gathered that:

- Facebook is where you write long status and it calls for likes, discussions and debates.
- Twitter (where you can write up to 140 characters only) is for your random thoughts, monologues, following/stalking your favourite actor
- Instagram is where you post nice pictures, sceneries and can make use of their cool fun filters to add more life to your picture

Personally my use for the 3 social medias are being break down as:

- Facebook, where I write though-provoking status or current situation and discuss/debate them with my friends and relatives
- Twitter, where it's mostly used for Bollywood stuffs, exchanging gossips, trivias with a fellow twitter friend whom I have not met before but can talk comfortably (reason why I hesitate to put a picture of myself for the display picture), tweet about random thoughts I think about when I'm on the way to work etc. Basically twitter is where I go to tweet about stuff which I would not want to write in my Facebook.
- Instagram is where I post pictures, mainly of sceneries, everyday scenes and occasionally pictures of myself, with family and friends

There's tumblr which I don't find a need to join as it seems like a blog to me. I already have one blog why take up another one right? Recently there's keek, something like the 3 social medias I listed above but in the form of video which the video is only up to few minutes only. I know I won't ever be joining keeks because I'm not that much of a video person. I like taking pictures for memories. But hey never say never!

All this long post and I'm coming to why I'm writing all this. Yesterday I had tweeted this "Felt as if I could be awake all night but I need to be less hard on myself. There's only much one can take at any one time.". And someone who I followed and is also following me replied several times but sadly I don't get what she meant. What she replied was about something happening 4 years ago being such an impressive reply to all the current games and because I brought it up in public, its fair that she reply back in public. Urmm excuse my stupidity but that tweet of mine was all about me, myself and I. Nothing to do with anyone for that matter. I'm curious to know if she is indeed someone I know in real life (I doubt so) and am still waiting for her reply.. It's such a mysetery. Maybe she was referring to something or someone else but it's too ambiguous and I don't get it..

Let's wait and watch..

It's 12.30am and I didn't realise it at all! #Oops #Goodnight
