Club Med Bali - Quick Read

The year - 2013. My first ever company trip and it was to Club Med Bali. A different experience being at the all inclusive resort for that 4/5 days.

All Day Long

 

It was really holiday holiday lazing around, drinking juices all day long. 

My only regret - I didn't join much of the water activities. 

Wanted to walk at the beach but the lurkers as per photos above ruined the mood.

Spend most of the time within the Club. Went to explore on 2nd last day for a quick one.

Would want to revisit Bali again, this time DIY and to other parts of the island. 

Family Batam Trip 2025 - Long Read

We planned, we discussed and finally the day arrived. Surprised the parents with a trip to Batam! 2nd trip for me and sister, 1st ever trip for the others. 

Glad that the to and fro for mom especially was smooth-sailing. Aside from her terrible sea-sickness which we found out after arriving. 

Arrived at Harbour Bay and had our dinner at Restoran Malaya. I like their nasi bakar. 

Checked-in to our stay for the trip. We got the interconnecting room which was so convenient!

  

 

Settled down and the 3 of us went to explore the opposite area

Sister saw a fun zoo for us to visit. Fed some of them but didn't really touch or pet them. I would love too if I didn't had to inject insulin for mom later on.

Albino kangaroos and sad looking horses. I wanted to pet them but there's signages about not going near them so I just took photos from far. 

After all the animal spotting, we headed to Grand Batam Mall and had our lunch there.

Baresto Cafe which mom said was the best food we had during the trip.

Decided to visit the nearby Masjid Agung before we check out

So serene and peaceful at the Masjid. Very calming environment.
