Trying to capture all the moon though the different colour won't show through the normal phone camera lens
It's 2026 this year. 20 years ago, it was the millennium year 2000.
Thinking back, I wonder what was I doing back in 2000/2001? Quick math, I'm in Sec 1 to 5 through 2001 and 2005.
Thinking of how to ace my N and O level and to start working and earn money.
Was there any dramatic happening in my youth? I don't remember any.
As far as I can recall, my life has been pretty quiet and non-happening (not wild) to this day.
Do I regret? Not really but I could have been more active back then, to pursue my own liking.
No point trying to go back in time and thought of the Ifs. Live in the present. Be in the present.
Started this blog in 2008 and it's 2026 now. Meaning my blog has turn a legal age - 18!
Where did the time went? In a blink of an eye, it's already 18 years since I started writing here and still keeping this blog.
Plenty of memories? Maybe not.
Plenty of random musing and thoughts over the years? Most likely yes.
I'm getting emotional when I realised it's 18 years of writing nonsense meant for my own eyes and for memory sake.
Sometimes, I will think of the food/meals I used to have at school~
Corporation Primary School
I still remember the simple nasi putih and lauk ayam kicap. Sometimes I would buy back mee rebus after school to be eaten at home.
Pandan Primary School
It's either the nasi goreng with 1 nugget or mee sop. I always look forward to the hot nasi goreng and freshly fried nugget cut into 3 pieces. The mee sop is sometime food and there's just yellow mee, crabmeat and clear broth.
Tanglin Secondary School
My favourite snack or quick go to is always the burger. Favourite meal is nasi putih, ayam tepung and kuah kuning which I think is lemak cili padi but watered down so it's not that spicy. I remember I could have this almost every day until a classmate pointed out out how I didn't get bored of eating the same thing every single day. Truth is, my daily allowance was limited then. Taking other food item might cost more so I just stick to the usual. Lucky for me, the combo works and I don't mind having it every day.
Ngee Ann Polytechnic
There was different canteen in the campus. I remember there was 4 or 5 canteen and the nearest was canteen 3 which I was not a fan of the food at all. But it was the nearest and cheapest.
Canteen 1 - the busiest and most central. I always buy from the nasi ayam stall. Different style of chicken flavour but affordable.
Canteen 2 - near to the pool. This was where I learnt eating the tofu cooked chinese style and I fell in love with it.
Canteen 4/5 - The furthest. We used to go to this canteen when we had 3 or 4 hours break time in between lesson. In this canteen, I love the wanton noodle which is healthier version somehow but tasty.
