Long Read - What if all the pictures are lost?

Sometimes when I browse through past pictures that I have taken or pictures that were taken of me with families and friends, I will have this weird feeling. Why do we take pictures?

In today's age where most people own a camera phone, things just get easier for us to snap pictures, thousands of them. I am guilty of taking way too many pictures too.

What if those thousands of pictures just got deleted and never recovered? Then what? Will we forget all the memories that were attached to the pictures? Will people believe what we told them if there is no photographic evidence?

I guess I am over thinking about this pictures issue. I have many things that I wanted to type for this entry but as usual when my fingers start type, my brain somehow just refuse to cooperate and I struggle to think of what I had wanted to say so badly.

I will just stop here for now and will continue to work on this entry as we move along.

Before I end, I'll put up those pictures that I have taken over the years to remind myself again of why we take pictures and why it is sometimes necessary to take pictures.
